I ordered this just to have something in the house for the occasional espresso. Overall, I am very satisfied with the cups and saucers. They have a solid feel to them. My only complaint is that in the set I received, there are subtle differences in the individual cups and saucers. They are not exactly the same (i.e. handle not the same on all cups, saucers have slightly different cutout sizes for the cups, etc…). It’s just minor details, but it’s noticeable if you look for it. It’s amazing how difficult it is to find espresso cups. I bought a new coffee maker and needed some cups. These are fantastic. The size and weight of the cups are perfect, and the colors couldn’t be better. I bought them for myself, but these would also make a fantastic gift. They come packaged very nicely, in a quite attractive “hatbox”. You could also break up the set, and use 2 cups, plus a pound of ground coffee as a very nice gift for someone.
