The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Anti-Inflammation Diet

I was just diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and so I purchased this book to help me figure out exactly what I should be eating to keep the internal inflammation down. It helped me tremendously! I had no idea that some foods actually cause inflammation and guess what? I was eating way too many of those…hence a gallon of milk a week. Before reading this book, I had no idea that inflammation causes you to be fat, bloated, and have actual pain. I didn’t know that white foods (rice, sugar, pasta, white bread and milk) should be avoided. Or that any kind of “itus” (like arthritus) is an inflammation problem.
